Club training takes place on Tuesday evenings throughout the year and is open to all, that means competitive runners and those just training for fun and fitness.
Between May and August Summer training is based at the Amherst field on map which is next to the Railway Station. This is again on Tuesday evenings starting at 7pm. Note that parking at the field is limited and there are not any changing or toilet facilities.
There is a 400m grass track in the large field that we use and we also head off on longer excursions along the river banks.
Winter training is based at the Paradise Centre in Ely every Tuesday. Training starts at 7pm when we set off on a variety of routes around the city. Hi-visibility vests or jackets must be worn when it is dark.
The athletes are divided into groups according to age, experience, and ability.
